~Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids on Saturday, March 3 from 1-4pm at Brunswick Bowling Lanes. The theme for this year is Hawaiian Beach Party, dress up and enjoy the fun! Sponsor sheets are available in the office. For more information please call 742-7623.
~Last week we recognized Bob and Ginny Fraser who are now moving to Truro to be near their daughter. Bob and Ginny have been members 54 years: first with Wesley and then Beacon when Central and Wesley merged. May God continue to bless them and others through them at this time of change.
~Our prayers and support go to the family and friends of Irene White Sr. who died this past Monday. Mrs. White resided in Arcadia and attended Beacon these past 30 years. A funeral service in her honour was held Saturday morning at 10am. David Sollows, Janet Sollows and Rev Jim gave leadership in this memorial service.
~This week we have received a visit from the Gideons, this insert from
the Canadian Bible Society, and an invitation from Pastor Bruce Taylor
of New Life Community Church to join them in this program which begins February 28. Phone New Life Church at 742-9327, if you

Offering Envelopes and PAR:
If you are requesting envelopes for the first time contact Shirley Sherman at 742-7436. If you would like an easy donation method of giving regularly sign up for PAR (pre authorized remittance) by calling Stephen Sollows at 742-6252.

Change for Change: Please remember to empty your pocket change in the Change for Change jar in the church Narthex. Saving change at home and bringing it each week is a great way to help too. Money will be used by the Sunday School for outreach projects.

Canadian Bible Society requests if you have any stamps , please bring them in and put in box in the Narthex.

Name Tags: Newcomers to Beacon really appreciate knowing your name. Please help them to feel welcome by wearing your name-tag every Sunday.
